Sony is “thinking about” bringing Gran Turismo to the PC.

Sony has put out a number of their big games for PC. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the most recent one. It looks like their popular racing game Gran Turismo could also be made for PC.

The Gran Turismo World Finals, a big video game tournament, has started. The creator of the series, Kazunori Yamauchi, who is also the president of the company that makes Gran Turismo, talked about possible plans to bring the game to PC.

Yamauchi told GTPlanet, “Yes, I think so.” It looks like the project could be held up by things other than a lack of desire.

He said, “Gran Turismo is a very well-tuned game.” “There aren’t that many platforms that can run the game natively in 4K/60p, so one way to make that possible is to limit the platforms. It’s not an easy topic, but we’re looking into it and thinking about it.”

Plans are already being made to see if a PC port is possible, but it will depend on how well the team can make the game run on the PC platform, which has a wide range of systems. Gran Turismo 7, the most recent game in the series, did come out on PlayStation 4 with lower settings, but that was just how it was.

In other franchise news, the movie has started filming, and it will come out in August 2023. Here you can also read our review of the latest book.
