Starmi has announced when their first game, Dragonspire, which is an action roguelike in the style of anime, will come out.
Dragonspire comes out for PC sometime in the spring of 2023 through Steam Early Access. Soon after the full game comes out, it will also be available on iOS and Android.
The company was started by people who used to work for Hi-Rez and worked on popular games like Smite and Paladins.
Here’s what Starmi has to say about the game:
Dragonspire is an action roguelike game that looks like an anime. As a player, your goal is to get stronger as you fight through the world of Asteria, which has a lot of tough places to fight in.
Crests will show up as you clear out certain rooms. Crests will give you different powers based on the element they belong to. Crests can give you more than 150 power-ups, and there are millions of ways to put them together.
On your journeys, you will find eggs that can make things happen. These can be incubated and hatched into powerful companions that give you up to 4 abilities each. (These give you the 8 abilities you cycle through while playing.)
Not interested in going alone? In our co-op mode, you can invite a friend or two, work together, and share the experience.
